I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many wonderful healings that I have had.

When I was a little child about six years old I had a case of croup. My mother telephoned a practitioner in another town for help, and I had instantaneous relief from choking. I attended school the following morning.

About nine years ago there was a scarlet fever "scare" in the town where we were living, and I came home from school manifesting the symptoms of this trouble. My mother called a practitioner and he told her to report it to a doctor in obedience to the law and he would stand by. The doctor said that it was scarlet fever, and that my little sister would probably get it too. He told my mother to put me to bed for I was a very sick girl. She told him that we were Christian Scientists, and that a Christian Science practitioner was on the case. We knew we were working out our problem in the right way and held steadfastly to the thought that man is in reality perfect, untouched and unseen by mortal mind. In three days I was out playing in the snow with my sister, who did not get the disease. In two weeks we were out of quarantine.
