Christian Science has brought an abundance of blessings to me, and I am most grateful.

I had what was diagnosed by a doctor as an inferiority complex and a fear complex. He set forth ways of increasing what I should now call human will, and there was a mild degree of success, but never complete freedom. Then Christian Science came to my attention, and at the same time the errors with which I had struggled, returned and were almost unbearable. In addition, the few friends I had, turned away one by one. Next I found myself in the Army, and this added a problem of a sense of separation from home. There seemed nothing left. But there was something left. I had Christian Science.

There were days of bitterness, for life seemed to be a hopeless wreck. But I always came back to this Science after these periods of bitterness, and then was so very grateful to find Truth patiently waiting. After a series of experiences like this, swinging back and forth from bitterness and discouragement to hope and inspiration, I realized that Science was for me, that I was using it in a degree every day and that I could not possibly get along as well without it.
