I have been on the "receiving end" of Christian Science for nearly twenty-five years and it is certainly time for me to acknowledge, through the periodicals, the blessings which have come to me during this time through the study and application of this truth.

I was once asked, "Why are you studying Christian Science?" I answered, "You might as well ask me, 'Why do you breathe?' The study and application of Christian Science is as necessary to my life as breathing is to my body."

My daughter, when a baby, was healed of malnutrition, measles, whooping cough, and a bad burn. My son, when a little fellow, cut half an inch off his finger when chopping wood. The piece grew on perfectly in a short time, the practitioner having told me to bandage it into place on the finger. When he was about ten years old he was beautifully healed of a severe case of scarlet fever, with no aftereffects. His sister was completely protected, as were his father and I, although none of us had ever had the disease.
