True Concept of Atomic Action

The discovery of the seemingly devastating possibilities of material atomic forces has recently given humanity pause, filling it with fear that such forces may be harnessed to spread destruction over the earth.

In her discovery of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy has revealed the true concept of atomic action which destroys the fear of its false material counterfeit through the spiritual understanding that the only real power is the omnipotence of Spirit, God, good, filling all space and acting only to bless. On pages 35 and 36 of "Unity of Good" our Leader writes, "The material atom is an outlined falsity of consciousness, which can gather additional evidence of consciousness and life only as it adds lie to lie."

The spiritual vision and wisdom which guided Mrs. Eddy as the Founder of Christian Science are exemplified in her choice of the twenty-six subjects for the Lesson-Sermons read at the Sunday services of every Christian Science church throughout the world. For many years these Lessons have been prepared, and are still being prepared, by the Bible Lesson Committee from the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. The subjects are inexhaustible in their scope, and include the spiritual truths and their practical application so essential to the enlightenment of mankind and the salvation of humanity from sin, disease, and all evil.
