For the past twenty-six years I have enjoyed the privilege of subscribing to the Christian Science periodicals and have many times been blessed with healing through reading the testimonies in both The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel. I have not, however, taken advantage of the opportunity afforded me of helping to fill these channels of healing until now.

I have had so many healings it is difficult even to remember them all. When my two daughters were small they were healed of many so-called children's diseases, sometimes through our own application of the truth and at other times through the help of practitioners. I should like to express my appreciation of the kind and patient practitioners who are always ready to help when called upon.

I have experienced remarkable healings of the following difficulties: severe colds from which I used to suffer every winter, but which have entirely disappeared; a felon on my finger, which was healed in one treatment; shingles, which was healed within one week's time after I called for help from a practitioner; hemorrhoids, which although persisting for several months in spite of much work on my own part, were quickly and permanently healed through the help of a practitioner. The last healing came through my earnestly and prayerfully following the practitioner's advice to study "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468). For these healings, and others too numerous to mention, and for the wonderful protection I am constantly receiving, I am very grateful to God.
