I wish to state that I witnessed...
I wish to state that I witnessed the healings related by my daughter and would add that her birth was itself a demonstration of Christian Science healing.
During the birth of her older brother the doctor declared that neither my son nor I would survive. The loving, faithful work of the Christian Science practitioner brought us both through the experience with no ill effects. The doctors then predicted that I could never give birth to another child. This verdict was reversed two years later when my daughter was born quickly and painlessly. The doctor frankly admitted that such an event had been possible only because of Christian Science treatment.
The illumination of the Scriptures given us in Science and Health, and the daily study of these two great books make the responsibilities of parenthood a joyous experience indeed. With humility and gratitude I can say (Psalms 119:105), "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."—(Mrs.) Myfanwy James Heck.
