Truth Outtalks the Devil

Today , when press, radio, cinema and people everywhere are broadcasting accounts of unprecedented evil happenings, it is more essential than ever that the voice of Truth should be heard. A religious leader once asked. "Why should the Devil have all the good tunes?"

It is the mission of the Christian Science church to spread the gospel, the good news of the unreality of evil. Adequate and effectual means have been provided to this end, and it should be our concern to see that no opportunity to circulate the message of Christian Science is neglected.

An effective way in which the truth can be voiced is provided by our Wednesday evening testimony meetings. At these meetings time is set apart for those who wish to tell of the good that Christian Science has brought into their lives, and sympathetic and eager listeners are congregated with thoughts uplifted by the service to receive and be strengthened by such testimony. Furthermore, there may be many present who are seeking just the encouragement and enlightenment which the testimonies provide.
