For over a quarter of a century Christian Science has been "our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1).

I am grateful that Mrs. Eddy, in her wisdom, established the Wednesday evening meetings as a part of the Christian Science activities. Many times the testimonies heard there have been just the help I have needed in making a demonstration. At one time when influenza and pleurisy were much in evidence in my experience, I heard a testimony on "knowing your true identity." Before the service was over the healing was complete. Always I come away from church services refreshed and grateful.

At one time when we were vacationing many miles from home my husband was taken quite ill. A practitioner was called by longdistance telephone, and later in the day we started for home. On the way my husband suffered much pain, but he was able to make the trip and drove most of the way. To comply with the rules of the company by whom he was employed, a doctor diagnosed the case and pronounced it a ruptured bowel, but said that the condition was healing nicely. In three weeks from the time of the attack he was back at the office completely healed.
