Sunday School Observations

Two young boys from a military school, pupils in a Christian Science Sunday School, greeted their teacher one morning with this remark: "We are dreading tonight, for this is the night of our gym show and we are afraid we will make some mistakes."

The teacher endeavored to clear their thought of fear by reminding them that the truth they had been discussing in class could overcome their fear and bolster their confidence in their God-given ability to think and act rightly.

The first portion of that day's Golden Text, which was from John 16:32, "I am not alone, because the Father is with me," took on new meaning for these boys as their teacher tried to show them how it could be applied to their present problem. Some valuable time was spent in reviewing all the synonyms of God which they had learned and by substituting one and all of them for the word "Father."
