Five years ago, when it was presented to me by a friend, I knew Christian Science was the truth which I had been seeking. It helped me to overcome grief at the passing on of a loved one. I remember reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy until the early hours of the morning, and I was marvelously refreshed. I was healed of smoking through listening to testimonies of healing at Wednesday evening meetings, and believing wholeheartedly that Spirit, God is the only attraction.

After two years as manageress of a licensed hotel. I was led, through the study of Christian Science, to move. I was offered a home with Christian Science friends, who cared for me and made me very happy. Many faults of character have been overcome through a better understanding of man as God's perfect child. Strained human relationships have been adjusted by the Love which always heals, and my needs have continually been met.

During the heavy London raids all my material possessions were destroyed, and I had to learn the meaning of true substance and home. My greatest blessing has been class instruction, and I am deeply appreciative of the beautiful way in which I was privileged to rest and study in a Christian Science Rest Home during that glorious period of spiritual progress. It is a joy to express loving gratitude for The Mother Church Benevolent Fund. I am deeply grateful for the many opportunities that I find to read and study in one of the Rest Rooms for His Majesty's Forces. I am regularly supplied with Science literature, including the Quarterly, and receive loving help from a consecrated Christian Science worker.
