With great joy and a deep sense...

With great joy and a deep sense of gratitude I wish to tell of the many blessings which I have received through the understanding of God that Christian Science has given me.

Eight years ago I met a friend who was a Christian Scientist. She kindly offered me the Sentinel to read. This was the first time I had had Christian Science presented to me. At that time I had been suffering for many years from ulcers on the leg, and all material aid had failed to help me. I procured a copy of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and with constant study and the help of a practitioner the healing of this condition was accomplished, without my knowing it, while I was employed in business activities.

In the twenty-third Psalm we read, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Words cannot express my deep sense of love and gratitude for the many other healings I have had.
