The needs of men who are returned from war duty—whether these needs are for healing, for comfort, for employment, or for readjustment of any nature—are of vital concern to all Christian Scientists.

At the present time many veterans' hospitals, as well as Army and Navy hospitals, are visited by Christian Science Wartime Ministers and volunteer Christian Science Wartime Workers, under the supervision of State Camp Welfare Committees and the Manager of Camp Welfare Activities.

Because the need for Christian Science activities in veterans' hospitals will continue after the war, when the Camp Welfare Activities organization is no longer required, it is proposed that this work be taken over by branch churches as soon as possible, and that the branch church nearest each veterans' hospital assume the responsibility for the work in that particular hospital.
