It is time that I expressed in writing my gratitude to God for some of the many blessings that have been mine through the beneficent ministrations of Christian Science.

My first healing, which occurred sixteen years ago, was of chronic constipation and periodic bilious attacks, supposedly inherited from my mother. The next was of acute attacks of asthma, from which I had suffered since childhood. Both these healings have been permanent.

Through the study and application of the teachings of Christian Science, as given in the writings of its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, especially the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I have been transformed from a selfish, indulgent idler to an active, useful member of society. Words can never describe the freedom and satisfaction I now enjoy since glimpsing the true character of man as the image and likeness of God.
