While enjoying the inspiring dedication services of our Christian Science branch church, I realized, with a heart filled with gratitude, that Truth meant everything to me. I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School at the age of ten, and it was there that I first felt the presence of Love all around me. It was there that the earliest hope of healing from infantile paralysis was established in my consciousness. I first learned to walk with the use of braces and crutches, but Love was guiding me, and I looked forward to each Sunday with greatest anticipation. I shall never cease to be grateful for every smile of encouragement and for the loving guidance that I received all along the way.

My growth in Christian Science has been gradual and continuous in proportion to my understanding. It is with great joy that I express my gratitude in this testimony for freedom from the need of any material support and for a very active and useful life.

I was healed of pneumonia through absent treatments, because at the time I was visiting in the mountains. I felt very close to God all through this experience. In less than two weeks I had resumed my usual activities.
