There is in my heart a song of deep-seated joy and gratitude for the richness, fullness, and completeness of life "hid with Christ in God," as revealed in the holy Scriptures, and in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and her other writings, including the Church Manual.

My wife, who "had suffered many things of many physicians, ... and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse," has been healed through her study and practice of Christian Science and the loving help of a practitioner, and has helped others to receive their healings.

This healing work interested me, and I began to read the textbook. The smoking habit and other false appetites which had held me in bondage for years, having defied all efforts of human will to dislodge them, were healed. I was also healed of gastritis, indigestion, nasal catarrh and other sinus troubles, which had made me miserable for years. Recurrent bronchial troubles, tonsillitis, sore throats, and colds likewise disappeared from my experience. All these were complete and permanent healings. I have also been healed of hemorrhoids; and despair, futility, and financial and business difficulties have been overcome. My wife and I have been protected in accidents, and have stepped out of a wrecked car unhurt. Through the study of our textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health, and with the help of a practitioner, I was healed of severe burns caused by burning oil which splashed over me. I received instant relief from pain and experienced no inconvenience. The flesh and skin were restored without a trace of the burns remaining.
