Christian Science is the only religion...

Christian Science is the only religion that has ever helped me. My early religious teaching did not explain God to me. Now that I am learning through this Science that God, the only cause and power, is infinite good, knowing no evil of any sort, I realize that I have found the truth.

I have been healed very quickly, and seen others healed also, of, among other things, influenza, a sprained knee and ankle, feverish conditions accompanied by much pain, and the effects of wasp and bee stings. At one time I was healed of a very severe cold by reading a testimony in a Sentinel, which brought me a wonderful sense of divine Love's infinite and tender care. A deep wound, caused when my son fell on a spike, was healed in three days when my thought turned from fear of the depth of the wound to the "depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God."

These healings were brought about by the understanding of both the practitioner and patient that such discords are false mental states which are destroyed by the realization of the all-power of God, Mind, who made man in His own image and likeness. I am so grateful to God for the loving aid of practitioners, for the uplifting experience of class instruction, and for the help received from association meetings.
