the newspapers, over the radio, by the fireside, in the trenches, one question is being asked again and again: "When will the great offensive on the western front begin?
When
the study and practice of Christian Science are commenced, it is not uncommon for students to discover that what they formerly regarded as harmless habits are errors of thought entirely foreign to the way of life revealed by this Science.
That
every earnest Christian Scientist desires to do his full part always, and especially now when the United Nations are called upon to put forth their greatest endeavors in the war effort, is true beyond cavil, but the way may not always be clear to him.
When
we are asked to teach in a Christian Science Sunday School might we not do well to consider not only what Jesus taught, but those qualities which Jesus exemplified in his role of Teacher?
How
tranquilly are Mind's ideas expressed:The placid river flowing to the sea;The quiet majesty of dawn; the treeLifting its grateful branches to the sun;The hush at eventide as, one by one,The starry host with solemn heraldryEnrobes the night with grandeur, silently—Their calm response to His divine behest!
I feel that it is time for me to express, through our periodicals, my gratitude to God for the blessings that have come to me through the study of Christian Science.
While enjoying the inspiring dedication services of our Christian Science branch church, I realized, with a heart filled with gratitude, that Truth meant everything to me.

There is in my heart a song of deep-seated joy and gratitude for the richness, fullness, and completeness of life "hid with Christ in God," as revealed in the holy Scriptures, and in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and her other writings, including the Church Manual.
