Wrap You in Love

Wrap you in Love tonight, God's precious one;
Though home be far and dark the night may seem.
Nor guiding star point out a pathway clear,
His is the vigil. Trust His work well done;
In God's safe love tonight, oh, wrap you deep.

Though sound of battle touch the outward ear,
In confidence turn from this mortal dream
And rest secure. Lay every burden down.
Herein is sanctuary: God is here
With panoply of love. Now, gently sleep.
