Many years ago Christian Science was presented to me and I very soon became a subscriber to the Christian Science Sentinel, which has been coming to my home ever since. I feel it is now time for me to send this testimony, in loving gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me.

When I have faithfully applied the truth in bringing up my family, it has been a beacon light. Now I am living on a farm alone and doing a great deal of work, but I realize where my strength comes from. Each day I am able to carry on, knowing that "the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him."

When a steam cooker blew open and scalded my right leg. I was alone in the house, and I at once sat down and read the Lesson-Sermon which that week was on Life. Soon the pain left me. I continued doing my daily work and even picked berries, and in ten days all trace of the burn had vanished. At another time I was severely cut on a wire fence. I dressed the wound myself. Error suggested infection had set in, but I at once took up the work as we are instructed to do in Christian Science, and it was not long before I was healed.
