The Way-shower

The Master's heart,
At one with God,
So lifted other hearts to see,
That they beheld through Christly grace
The presence of reality.

He purged and burned
The chaff from off his threshing floor,
Till weary feet new life attained,
And, leaping, entered by the door.
The withered hand
Grew quick in power.
The single eye began to see—
No secret was the Master's art;
He taught it there in Galilee.
