I have long had the desire to express my gratitude for Christian Science through our periodicals.

More than thirty years ago my mother was healed through Christian Science treatment of a complication of diseases, when the doctors had given up all hope of her recovery. She lived a normal and useful life for twenty years afterward.

I did not become very much interested in Christian Science at that time, but a few years later found myself in a run-down, weakened condition. As the doctors could give me little help, I decided to try Christian Science, and called on the same practitioner who had helped my mother.
