Over ten years ago I took up the study of Christian Science, and have been so wonderfully blessed that I wish to express my gratitude to God.

The question used to arise in my mind as to the importance of being healed of the tobacco habit. As time went on I learned that it is often the simple things that play the most important role in our success or failure.

I began by reading the chapter on Prayer from our textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. When I came across the question (p. 9). "Are you willing to leave all for Christ, for Truth, and so be counted among sinners?" its importance so impressed me that I repeated the question over and over again until the truth finally penetrated my wall of self-righteousness.
