Utilizing "the rhythm of Spirit"

On page 510 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says, "To discern the rhythm of Spirit and to be holy, thought must be purely spiritual." What is "the rhythm of Spirit"?

In music, rhythm is, according to a dictionary definition, "A symmetrical and regularly recurrent grouping of tones according to accent and time value." We have all listened to an orchestral performance and enjoyed the beautiful tonal effects of many instruments. Sometimes a certain group of instruments plays many notes of short time value in quick succession; another group may be carrying a sustained passage, while yet another may be engaged in playing pedal point; but all function together, maintaining the proper metrical accents.

Of the realm of Spirit, of the great reality of all things, our beloved Leader writes (Science and Health, p. 295): "God creates and governs the universe, including man. The universe is filled with spiritual ideas, which He evolves, and they are obedient to the Mind that makes them." This obedience of spiritual ideas to the all-controlling Mind that sends them forth, brings out "the rhythm of Spirit." It signifies the perfect co-ordination of all spiritual ideas in the continuous and endless fulfillment of the divine harmony.
