God's Remedy
Referring to those who dwell in the city of God, in the consciousness of ever-present good, the prophet declares, "The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity."
As in Isaiah's time, so today, it is being proved through the teaching of Mary Baker Eddy that the best remedy for disease is divine aid. It is also being proved that divine aid is the best preventive of disease.
When the Israelites lived up to their highest sense of divinity, they were rewarded with health, happiness, and success. When they failed to do so, their portion was discord and failure.
