I have no words to express my gratitude for Christian Science. For more than twenty-eight years it has been my only physician and help.

Having suffered for many years, I had tried a number of physicians, different treatments, and change of climate. I lived in California for several years, and was in a noted sanatorium at Battle Creek, Michigan but was finally brought home and told that nothing more could be done for me. Every organ in my body was diseased.

A friend from a near-by city, hearing of my condition, came to see me and told us of Christian Science. We had never heard of it. She told me of healings she and her family had experienced, and asked that we give it a trial.

She said that one could have absent treatment. Work for me was taken up by a practitioner, and after ten treatments I was up and dressed, ready to be taken to the city. I stayed in the practitioner's home from a Wednesday to the following Monday, and came home alone, like the man in the Bible, "walking, and leaping, and praising God."

I have been through many trials and have been faced with many problems, but all these have been worked out, sometimes by my own understanding of Christian Science, at other times by the help of a practitioner.
