Compensation
When
I deny deceiving fears of sense
For faith in Soul,
I understand that touch upon the garment's hem
Which once made whole.
When I declare myself God's perfect child,
Humbly, in praise,
My going forward is unchecked
By false delays.
When I can still the subtle whine of self,
To love mankind,
Resentment and confusion pass away,
And peace I find.
