Man Power
In the present world conflict much thought is centered around the subject of man power. Questions are raised about its availability because the need for it is said to be great. The armed forces need man power, industry needs it, the farmers need it, and our nation needs it. What is this man power?
Man, Christian Science teaches us, is the perfect expression of God, divine Mind, and derives all his power from God. It must follow, therefore, that man power, rightly considered, is the expression and representation of God's power and manifests all God's qualities. While horse power is considered a measure of physical energy and activity, real man power is the demonstration of divine strength, intelligence, authority, and dominion. Yes, man power is needed by the world today.
Enlightened individuals and nations are now exerting tremendous effort to restrain and destroy an evil which claims that God does not exist, or is not the supreme power; that physical force and material weapons are more powerful than God. This aggressive evil claims further that it can close churches, injure and kill mankind, and halt the progress of civilization. How do we attack and destroy such evil?
