It is with deepest gratitude and humility that I give this testimony of healing in Christian Science.

I had suffered all my life from sick headaches. Every two or three days I was overcome with them. I was very sick and weak, and the doctor had pronounced my case tuberculosis. I weighed ninety-six pounds, and could not dress myself or do any physical labor.

My husband spoke of Christian Science, and as a result we bought the Bible, and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. I read for several days and nights. The chapter on Prayer arrested my attention, and I began trying to empty my thought of anything unlike good, such as self-pity and many other errors that tried to come in. I was completely healed when I became willing and humble enough to obey the commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." It took much study on my part, and faithful application of what I learned, to empty my mind of that which is unlike good.
