It has been many years since my first testimony of gratitude and healing appeared in The Christian Science Journal, and I am prompted here to reiterate the great joy and satisfaction that have been mine at finding Christian Science and experiencing its many blessings.

Truth indeed heals. After two days of discomfort caused by an infected toe, it dawned on me while I was driving from my home to a Wednesday evening meeting that I had been accepting the material evidence as real instead of knowing the truth about it. I immediately corrected my thinking and turned my attention to the truths contained in "the scientific statement of being," as given on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The result was that I was totally healed of all discomfort by the time I reached the church edifice. Since then I have experienced no further trouble of the kind.

At another time, when my eldest son sought help in Christian Science because of a bothersome toothache, I reminded him of the truths he had learned in the Christian Science Sunday School, encouraging him to affirm a number of facts which he understood about God and His perfect creation. He had an instantaneous healing.
