Christian Science Committee on Publication for Arkansas Reports

There was a time when unfriendly allusions to Christian Science or its Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, claimed a large portion of the attention of Committees on Publication. Such incidents have grown so rare as to be at the vanishing point.

In the year that is covered in this report there were no such comments in the public press. One radio series was prepared which was antagonistic to Christian Science and the first one was broadcast, but the manager of the station saw to it that such use of the facilities of the station was not made again.

During the past year your Committee has become acquainted with many of the newspaper fraternity. In this way some appreciation of their problems and achievements has been acquired and some very pleasant and helpful friendships formed.
