I should like to tell of my gratitude for Christian Science. Words can never express how grateful I feel for the peace and love which have come into my life since learning about this divine Science.

As a child I was taught the Bible, and I have always studied it, but with how little understanding I did not know until Christian Science was presented to me. I believed that God could heal our ills, but I had the Jewish concept of God as a powerful, thunderous Jehovah. I felt that I was too insignificant and not good enough for God to be bothered with. How different things are for me now that I know something about God's loving-kindness and compassion! New truths are unfolding to me every day, and I have found that our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, is a true key to the Bible.

Some years ago I was told by a physician that he could not help me further, and his advice to me was to take up the study of Christian Science. I felt that he was trying to tell me that I was not ill, and I left his office filled with resentment. I did not know anything about Christian Science, so did not follow his recommendation, and remained in a miserable state of health. Some three years later, however, I became interested in Christian Science through a very dear friend, and found that it was just what I had been needing and wanting.
