I have much for which to be...

I have much for which to be grateful to Christian Science, and to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who gave us "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which indeed unlocks the meaning of the Bible for us. I am grateful for the healing, through this Science, of what appeared to be the most aggravated symptoms of appendicitis, also of what seemed to be rheumatic fever. For membership in The Mother Church and for class instruction I am very grateful, and also to all those who have lovingly helped me to see and hold to the fact of man in God's image and likeness, when envy and hatred have tried to swamp me, and for the realization that evil is unreal, and thus is powerless to harm God's spiritual idea or separate it from its divine Principle. For protection in many instances I am also grateful.

My earnest desire is to help others as lovingly as I have been helped.—(Miss) Edith A. Pemberton, Durban, Natal, South Africa.
