Words alone can never express my gratitude to God for Christian Science. My first healing, which took place instantaneously sixteen years ago, during my first visit to a Christian Science practitioner, came after I had been held in bondage for several years and had been discharged from the hospital as incurable. No one could ever know what freedom, gratitude, peace, and abundance Science has brought into our home. Healings of severe headaches, grippe, which had presented itself year after year since girlhood, ill-temper, self-pity, and many other traits of mortal mind, have taken place through our study of Christian Science.

Our little girl was healed overnight of inflamed and painful ears after we called a practitioner; also, a goiter disappeared through her attendance at the Christian Science Sunday School.

One healing of tightened muscles and fear took place in about ten days through prayer and the application of our understanding of the truth as revealed in Christian Science, together with the help of a practitioner. My husband was healed of the desire for liquor while listening to a Christian Science lecture over the radio. He was also healed of a long-standing tobacco habit, of which he had tried for many years previous to rid himself; all desire left him completely while he was listening to a Wednesday evening meeting.
