The Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly includes no human opinion. It contains only what is to be found in the sacred Scriptures and in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Teaching from the Lesson-Sermon, then, is imparting the truths of the Bible and of the correlative passages from our textbook.

In the references from Science and Health in the Lesson-Sermon our beloved Leader is talking to us, uttering the truth which was revealed to her. The voice is not on the plane of human opinion, but is the Word of God. It is important that we, the teachers in the Christian Science Sunday School, recognize this and know that we are to impart to our pupils the truth which God has revealed to us through our revered Leader.

Mrs. Eddy ordained that the Bible and Science and Health shall be the pastor of the Christian Science church (see "Miscellaneous Writings," pp. 313, 314). God speaks to His people. This ordination provides that not personal concepts but the demonstrable understanding of God and His spiritual creation shall be given out in the Christian Science Sunday School.
