Association Day

AGNES C. INTLEKOFER

With eager hearts we meet, dear God,
To glorify and bless Thy name.
As on that Pentecostal day,
Pour forth Thy spirit, like a flame.

With reverence deep and joy unsealed,
We drink the living water here.
Truth opens wide the upward way;
Love's tender presence stills all fear.

With gratitude for this, Thy feast,
May we go forth to prove Thy Word,
To share with all who seek the Christ
This healing inspiration, Lord.
