Christian Science Committee on Publication for Manitoba, Canada, Reports

We are especially grateful for an increasingly friendly attitude on the part of newspaper men towards Christian Science, for their splendid co-operation at all times, as well as for the many reprints from The Christian Science Monitor which are being published by them.

Our Lesson-Sermon excerpts are being published fairly regularly each week. These excerpts we understand are being read with growing interest by those who are not Christian Scientists, and are proving a means of dispelling prejudice and criticism towards Christian Science.

As far as we know, only one unfriendly allusion to Christian Science, to Mrs. Eddy, or to Christian Scientists was made in any of our Manitoba newspapers during the year 1942. This refers to an article which was reprinted by Heimskringla, an Icelandic weekly published in Winnipeg. As soon as the matter was brought to the attention of its editor he willingly and graciously agreed to publish our reply.
