Signs of the Times
God as Friend
Statement by pastors of Trenton (Michigan) churches, as quoted in the Trenton Times
In this day of stress we are in need of strength that is supernatural. The greatest power to aid us in the present crisis of our country is Almighty God. If we are to receive the help of God we must have Him as our Friend. Our lives must conform to God's will. Let us then ask ourselves, Am I doing God's will in my private life, in my home, in my work, and in all of my daily contacts? Am I harboring any sin that prevents me from wholeheartedly turning to God and asking for His love and protection for myself, my loved ones, and my country?
