It is with deep desire to help...
It is with deep desire to help those who seem to be lingering in the wilderness of doubt and fear, as I was ten years ago, that I give the following testimony.
I was suffering from extreme nervousness, mental depression, adhesions, and lack. A close relative of mine, who is a student of Christian Science, told me that this Science could solve any problem, regardless of how hopeless it seemed to be. My answer to this was: If I thought my problems could be solved in Christian Science, especially the one of lack—since a large debt of long standing due to irregular employment was involved—I would be a Christian Scientist the rest of life.
Work was immediately taken up. It came to me clearly that the entire problem was one of bondage. I was led to open my Bible at random. My eyes fell upon this passage from Galatians: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." I did stand fast. A position was found which has remained permanent. The position has also proved to be far superior to that of any human outlining. The debt was paid, and there have been continued progress and prosperity. Health has been completely restored.
