I wish to tell of the first healing...
I wish to tell of the first healing I experienced in Christian Science. I awoke one night, many years ago, with an attack of tonsillitis. I was in a physician's home in a different town from where I lived, and so felt I could not disturb the household to call for Christian Science help. I applied the small understanding of Christian Science I had at that time, and when morning came was able to go to a Christian Science practitioner. The healing was very quick, and I have never had a return of this illness. Since that time I have experienced many healings.
I can never express in words my thankfulness to Mrs. Eddy, who through her unselfed love gave to the world the Christian Science textbook, whereby we may learn how to apply Christ Jesus' teachings today, and for every need.—(Mrs.) Nannie Virginia Owen, Tampa, Florida.
