"A Different Answer" from the District Manager of Committees on Publication for Great Britain and Ireland
Two Worlds
Lieut.-Col. Robert Ellis Key Two Worlds, Manchester, England
In correspondence appearing in your paper early this year you asked, "What are the facts as to Mary Baker Eddy and spiritualism?" and you published what you evidently regarded as an answer to this question. Kindly allow me to offer a different answer, based upon an intimate acquaintance with Mrs. Eddy's personal history.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, was born in 1821 near Concord, New Hampshire. Her parents were members of the Congregational church, and she was a member of it from the time she was a girl until many years later.
