"Freely ye have received, freely give"
"Freely ye have received, freely give." It is with the thought of the many blessings that have been mine during the past thirty years since I began the study of Christian Science, and the desire to give renewed courage to some who are finding the way long and arduous, that I wish to tell of the healing of my daughter.
When she was about six years of age she had a fall, and became violently ill. For thirteen weeks she was under the care of physicians, who tried several different methods of treatment without any improvement.
A consultation was asked of the several physicians who had attended her, and they all gave different verdicts. One said her leg would have to be taken off at the hip; another that her leg would not have its normal growth and she would have to spend her life in a wheelchair. Another said she was too weak to undergo an operation, so there was no hope.
