"Sufficient occupation"

At this crucial point in the world's history a vital part of the work of the Christian Scientist is to help erase from the human mind unhappy and diseased thoughts. Mary Baker Eddy gives the following loving admonition in the Church Manual (Art. VIII, Sect. 15): "God requires our whole heart, and He supplies within the wide channels of The Mother Church dutiful and sufficient occupation for all its members."

There is a growing conviction on the part of right-thinking people that the only possible solution of the problems confronting the nations of the world will be found through the intelligent application of the teachings of Christ Jesus.

The practical utilization of these teachings has been made possible in this age through Mrs. Eddy's discovery of Christian Science.
