I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. It has been my only physician, and I have had many proofs of its healing power.

I was healed of the desire to smoke. At the passing on of someone very dear, I was comforted by the realization that true qualities are ever present and cannot be destroyed. I have been protected from physical ills to a very great extent, and with the help of a practitioner I was healed of blood poisoning in one foot.

Some time ago I was on my way to work one morning when I experienced all the symptoms of a cold. I was less than one hundred feet from my destination. My first thought was that I would not have any time to do any mental work for myself until lunch time, because my job is one of constant activity. Then I realized immediately that God, divine Principle, was, is, and always has been filling all space; that He is therefore infinite, and that there cannot be anything discordant such as a cold—for there is nothing outside of infinity; that there is only one Lawmaker, God, and one law, and that one good and infinite. By this time I had reached my place of business, and it was not until several days later, when I recalled the incident, that I realized I had experienced an instantaneous healing.
