Christian Science has brought to me an understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him, and through this understanding I was healed of what the doctors diagnosed as an incurable disease. Following my own healing, I witnessed in my family a baby's healing of blood tumors and a small boy's healing of deformed hands. After I had witnessed these quick and permanent healings, Christian Science gave me a better understanding of Jesus' message to John, "Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them."

I should like to relate an example of the ever-operative law of God, when it is seen and acknowledged. On awakening one morning I found I was unable to move. I asked for Christian Science treatment, and when the practitioner asked what I thought the trouble was, I replied, "I guess it's rheumatism that I have inherited from my parents." I was then told that in Christian Science we are taught that God is the Father and Mother of man, and that man can inherit only good; and I was healed.

I am most grateful for the peace and assurance which Christian Science has brought to me through seeing that fear can be destroyed by an understanding of God.
