I have read with so much interest and innumerable times gained such encouragement from the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals that I feel I should like to add my mite of thanksgiving to the wonderful record of the power of Truth over error.

For several years I suffered from an exceedingly painful and disfiguring form of rheumatism. A doctor once sympathized with me and showed me similar symptoms in himself, saying there was no cure. A specialist confirmed the complaint and the incurability.

I did my best to work in Science for myself and thought I was doing well, until gradually I came to the conclusion that I was not playing the organ so well. Fear, discouragement, and impatience got in and I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help. That help was given lovingly and patiently, but although the acute pain left me immediately, it took several months for all the symptoms to disappear.
