Lecturer: Mrs. Elizabeth McArthur Thomson; introduced by Mrs. Margery E. Taylor, who said:—

On the morning of Jesus' resurrection, those who early sought his tomb asked one another, "Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?" For we are told, "it was very great." But they found that the stone had been rolled away. Then, entering the sepulcher, they were greeted by the historic words of the angel, "He is not here: for he is risen, as he said."
