I am happy to have this opportunity to share a few of the numerous blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science.

I was greatly in need of this Science myself, but did not know anything about it until my mother brought a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy into our home. From curiosity and a desire to help my mother, I started to read. Before finishing the beautiful chapter on Prayer I was convinced it was what I was seeking. It answered my many questions and healed me of a puzzled and wrong concept of prayer. Shortly after, warts, sore and painful ingrown toenails, continual colds, and rheumatism, along with a very poor condition of health, were healed through my reading. Chronic dyspepsia was also healed when I learned better to put into practice what I read. The Bible became a new book to me, and I particularly appreciate the spiritual understanding I am gaining of it. Through the loving work of a practitioner, I was uplifted and helped in many ways. I was also liberated from heart trouble, painful ulcerated tooth, and from pain I had had for several years at the base of my head.

I have had the joyous experience of some instant and quick demonstrations. One morning I awoke with all the symptoms of a bad cold. I was fearful at first and thought, "What shall I do?" The answer was, "Why, there is no power nor presence apart from God." I then arose, healed.
