Affluence
How rich in peace art Thou, O Father-Mother!
Thy little children need not suffer fear,
But sheltered safe, in holy gratitude,
May know the calm of heavenly quietude.
Such peace is ours today, for Thou art here.
How rich in good art Thou, O God, our Father!
No need of man can ever be denied.
We strain our eyes in search of good afar,
When all the wealth of God is where we are.
With life eternal man is satisfied.
How rich in love art Thou, O God, our Mother!
No lonely heart with suffering is rent
Where affluence of Love is ever flowing,
Bringing a comfort past all mortal knowing.
Within our Mother's arms we rest content.
