In 1912 I was told that there was no hope of saving my sight, and that I should eventually be blind. I was wearing glasses and had periods of blindness, which were getting worse. As a last resort my parents were persuaded to try Christian Science for me. The healing was slow, but I have had no trouble with my eyes since then, even though I work at figures under artificial light. I am sincerely grateful for this healing.

I am also thankful for the protection Christian Science affords us. Some time ago, I was saved from injury when I was struck by an automobile, which threw me across the street and onto the parking space. People offered to help me, but I refused, for I was not hurt.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and also for class instruction.
