I am happy to testify to the healing power of God, demonstrated by our Master, Christ Jesus, and revealed in this age by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

Christian Science was brought into our home when I was a child of eight. I was critically ill with scarlet fever, and it was not believed by those in attendance that I could recover. In this dark hour, my father was induced by a friend to ask for help from a Christian Science practitioner. The help was lovingly given, and I was quickly healed.

The truths grasped at this time were never forgotten. I had the privilege of attending Christian Science church services with my parents three times, and Sunday school once, before moving to a part of the Canadian Northwest where there were no Christian Scientists within many miles of our home.
